I has been a while since my last post but I am very busy at the moment.

Got a new job and very low energy levels :D

On 13th of February, I was at my first BJD meet up with a doll!

Hello everyone!
I has been a while, I know. I am very bad when it comes to determination and sticking up with the plan.
I wish I coulf get better but it might be a terminal illness!

Anyways, loads of things did change.
Most of them stayed the same ... which is the most annoying thing ever!

I know it is a little bit late to post that but on the day (16.11.2014) we posted our photos everywhere we could so ...
It is just an update for now - and I am very happy that at the end my brain had some ideas what to take photos of ...
I know that the quality of photos is not stunning but I honestly need a proper camera - haha, that is the next thing I am saving up to xD
Proper Camera ... <3

But so far we need to survive with a phone camera which is usually crappy as hell ...
And it is mostly the idea that counts <3

So, what this whole day was dedicated to?
BJD artists ...
Why?
Because there are people out there who copy their work and are playing to be BJD gods ...
And they are not.
BJD artists put their whole souls into projects, get their hands dirty for a good cause and not get them dirty because they are doing something illegal and sickening ...
They give shape to dreams
They give lives to characters
They put ideas into life

Support artists - not the copycats!

BJD meet up in Liverpool June 2014

Hello everyone!
It has been a while I know - but as you all now I am quite lazy to post something until it is important :D
But I will try to get better today and actually post a lot xD

On Sunday we had our first BJD meet up in Liverpool.
The group was small but cozy and friendly so I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves!
The tea house was cute and stylish <3

BJD meet up in Manchester

Hello, everyone :D
My first serious post in a while!
Wohooo - lets see :)

This Saturday, the 10th of May, was a BJD meet up in Manchester.
I was quite nervous ...
First BJD meet up in UK, .... first BJD meet up with me actually having a BJD ... and the fact that I knew nobody :D
But after all we got there with Raphael. xD
Although he was trying not to go there all day Friday :D
(but after I told him that we are going even if he is in pieces ... he did behave :D )

The meeting was lovely and friendly.
All the BJDs and owners were fantastic!
I just can not help smilling even now when i think about it :3
I am sure me and Raphael made some good friends and found out some things about Raphael.
Well, of course I already knew about most of them ... but somehow forgot them as well :D
For example I completely forgot that Raphael is good with kids ...
And now I am having a big problem called "Raphael wants a baby" :D
(sounds weird - but wait and see the photos - you will understand :D )

I am so sorry but I can not remember the names and I hope that nobody will be offended by me posting this photos. Please, if you are, do tell me :3

Hello, everyone!

I do hope you enjoyed last two days that were filled with sun and were warm.

Spring is coming - there is no doubt about it!

So, me and Raphael went to the beach for a small walk and some photos.

I did it althoug I was scared that something might happen.

That people would be shouting at me or even would attack Raphael.

But nothing happened - in fact it was quite the opposite.

When we were in the park there was some guy with a dog.

We just talked about the flowers and dogs and what a lovely day it is.

The same with the other guy - that Monet would love to paint that garden :)

Box opening - Raphael (Soom Chrom/Euclase)

Well, well, well :)

After long time I was really into BJDs the dream did come truth!
But now, some backstory from the waiting period :D

Like most other people, the time between finding out what BJD stands for (well, and instantly falling in love with them!) and actually getting one was longer than all Tolkiens ages combined!
I found out about BJDs 4 years ago - more or less - and it took me until now to get my first beauty!
Like all of you out there I went thru all the phases - first was finding out about BJDs, how gorgeous they are and basicaly wanting one. Then you find out about the price ... And you want to forget about the perfection you can not afford. But you can not help it. Going thru all the online shops does not help as well - note that!
You will fall deeper and deeper into resin abyss and there is no going back.
After this phase of denial that there is something like BJDs (well, you did not do your part in this denial, because you probably did end up with a folder full of your future BJDs - well, future in your dreamworld :D )
you start thinking what part of your body you do not need for survival so you could sell it and buy one BJD.

After all of that I want - look at the price - nothing like BJD exists you end up with people who already have BJDs and it does not help as well.
Then you start to make your plan "How to get one" and more importantly "Who it will be?".

There is a first concept I made. Drawing of the characters I want to own.
With their names, characteristics and a bad drawing :D

(sorry, I know it is really bad but I just needed a quickie! xD )

I started with Raurencio studio Calian - completely fell in love with the head and had a personality from my book (well, it is mostly just a concept for a book - so far ...) the problem was the price at the time.
Now the problem is that they do not make him anymore and nobody is selling him ...

But this is him - with my edition on a photo from Raurencio studio:

He was supposed to be an alien. Silver-purple eyes. Silver/white hair.

With powers, clever, creative and bad.

(sounds like everybody´s else first BJD thought :D)

His name will be Kanrei Kaishii de Blanc 

(well, his alias will be - he is an alien after all :D )

on the picture he is the one in the middle - in kimono :)

Unfortunately they do not make him anymore - although I am still hoping they will sell him again! <3

(I just love him and his head is one of two my mum likes)

My another one is an elf. Because I am a science fiction/fantasy freak who can not have normal personalities.

This one is supposed to be good hearted rebel with love of life! <3

I also know what model this one should be :D

And I am almost sure it is the same one as Kentaro (some people will know what i am talking about :D)

He was my first BJD "crush" and I am a little bit scared I was influenced by him when I created my character - a little bit - well, a lot :D

(Well, actually it is not the same one as Kentaro - but the influence is more than visible :D )

the shape of the face actually matches the shape i did draw :D (funny :D )

His name is Hadeth Ruethil

He is an elf

red hair, green eyes

little bit of a punk brat xD

(on the picture he is the one on the left ;) )

And then there is Raphael Iahhel. An Angel. My guardian angel. Raphael is an angel that commands the winds. My element (for my star sign) is wind. And i was always into angels :D

I never knew what exact head or body he should be. Well, I wanted Soom one with fantasy body.

Some with cute ears. (I mostly wanted Sard´s head ... He was my favourite but the thing about Soom is that you have to love all of theirs dolls :D so I seriously did not care ...) The most important thing was claws!

He can not have paws because he is an angel and they are closest to birds not cats.

The other thing about Soom is the price - you have to pay for perfection, quite evidently ...

So I was like I will never ever get this one T___T

Life went on, Raphael was still in my mind and from time to time I browsed DoA.

Usually nothing.

Once there was Sale for Sard! Really beautiful and cute ... but I did not have any money at the time so I could not go after him :(

But after New Year I saw that someone is selling Soom Chrom/Euclase.

The body was perfect! Claws! <3

So I contacted lady who owned him and found out that this time the dream might come truth!

Lady was very friendly and we worked out a layaway.

First I wanted to buy just the body but then I was "Body without a head for who knows how long is not a good idea. And Chrom is the other BJD head my mum liked. And he is cute and fitting... Alright, lets buy my baby Raphael!"

The other good new was that he was in UK which means fast dealing and I would get him soon after I payed him off.

And after two months layaway I got him!

Now, here comes photo-spam about the opening of the BOX!

It was 26th of February and the postman rang the bell around the noon.

And the BOX was enormous!

(not that I did not know it would be a big one but ...)

everything was nicely and safely packed.

bubble wrap is probably for nerve relief :D (but it is not red xD )

Classical mummy in a sleeping sack - it is getting out! Run!

"When I get out of here and will find out who did this to me. I will make them pay for it!"

"This is a very confusing situation. Where am I?"

"This is not acceptable clothing! How did this happen? What did I drink? How much did I drink?"

"Could you turn around, please? I am almost sure I am naked underneath this bubble thing!"

"Of course I was right! I am as naked as Adam and I do not have anything in common with this human being!"

"But I am cute - so it is me! But I do not like this wig - can you do something about it, please?" 

This is a second kimono. He did not like the first one. Maybe because it was not made for him. I made the first one for Kanrei and it does not match Raphaels personality. And he is wearing different eyes as well.

They were supposed to be for Kanrei as well so we do not use them as often as I wish - Raphael does not like them - again. Probably because they were not supposed for him.
